At Montessori Country Day, children are taken outdoors for one hour each morning, and students in our Extended Day Program also play outside one hour each afternoon.
The playground has space to run freely and is fully equipped with equipment to ride tricycles, play basketball, build sandcastles, swing, slide, and more!
We also have a separate playground for the safety and comfort of our toddlers.
During the warmer seasons, children have access to an outdoor water table that is replenished with clean, cool water each day for their enjoyment. We also plant our garden boxes each spring.
During summer camp, we offer water play each day, weather permitting. Children change into their bathing suits, we turn on the sprinkler, bring out the water play toys, and let the fun begin!
